Other considerations when you are RIFed:
1. You may be eligible for unemployment insurance if you are RIFed. Check Box 39 in your SF-50 and visit the unemployment insurance website for the state listed in that box.
2. You may be eligible to participate in a Career Transition Program and obtain a hiring preference if you choose to be re-employed by the government in the future.
3. You will continue to accrue Annual Leave and Sick Leave during the Normal Employment and Admin Leave periods.
4. Your benefits (e.g. FEHB, TSP matching, FEGLI, etc.) will continue until your Admin Leave ends, and in some cases, will continue for 30 days after.

Other considerations when you take the DRP:
1. You will continue to accrue Annual Leave and Sick Leave until you officially separate from your agency.
2. Your benefits (e.g. FEHB, TSP matching, FEGLI, etc.) will continue until your separation date.
